What is a Widget?
Find out how you can customise this site to better suit your needs.
You can add or remove "widgets" - small self-contained areas of content and functionality - from the customise panel of The Knowledge Network home page. Below you can view the current set of widgets appearing on Home, and you can use the features within "Add more widgets" to search or browse for available widgets and add or remove them to/from the homepage.

This is a list of our specialist searches that can be added to your browser search bar. The list of available search providers will be visible on The Knowledge Network home page. It is possible to search for a widget and add it to your homepage.To do this: click on ‘Add a widget to the panel...’, scroll down to Add More Widgets box and find a widget by clicking on Featured Widgets, All Widgets or Search tab. Click on More Details then Add To My Home. Return to your homepage and the widget will be visible.

Continuous Improvement Toolkit
This feature uses tabs to navigate to sub pages. It contains The Continuous Improvement Toolkit which has been designed by the Scottish Government Improvement Support Team to aid NHS Scotland in achieving a culture of continuous improvement. Created for managers, clinicians and frontline staff in NHSScotland, the toolkit is a generic resource that can be used for any service improvement work. Please click on each tab to read through the information and browse the available links on each page. It is possible to search for a widget and add it to your homepage. To do this: click on Add/Remove Stuff, scroll down to Add More Widgets box and find a widget by clicking on Featured Widgets, All Widgets or Search tab. Click on More Details then Add. Return to your homepage and the widget will be visible.
