    Evidence into Practice helps clinicians to find, share and apply evidence to practice to deliver the best quality patient care. It aims to equip NHS Scotland with the knowledge and tools to deliver a world-class health service and facilitate change in practice at the frontline:

    access to the evidence base for safe, effective, person-centred care ;

    access point of care resources to support clinical decisions ;

    tools and support for creating, sharing and disseminating knowledge through communities and networks ;

    tools and outcome measures to support, record and monitor improvement in practice

    Clinical Topics for Safety & Effectiveness – Evidence-based changes in practice, outcomes measures and tools for different clinical topics, for example SIGN guidelines, SPSP areas of improvement.


    Got a Clinical Question? – Access to CLEAR, the online clinical enquiry and response service from Healthcare Improvement Scotland, which aims to provide clinicians with summarised evidence relating to aetiology, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment queries about patient care.


    Clinical Decision Making – Information and education from the Scottish Clinical Skills Network clinical decision making special interest group.
